We provide comprehensive eye health examinations for all ages. Our examinations include the use of some of the most up-to-date technologies including wide-field retinal photography, Optical Coherence Technology (OCT), Visual Field testing, and more.
Children
BC Doctors of Optometry recommends annual eye examinations for children starting at 6 months old. We do not charge for children under the age of 19.
Adults between 19 and 65 years
Recommended routine eye examinations every 2 years.
Seniors
Annual eye examinations are recommended.
EMERGENCIES
From metallic foreign bodies and flashes/floaters to sudden vision changes and other unexpected eye-related issues, we are here to assist you with comprehensive care and professional expertise.
We are available for emergencies during office hours. Please call ahead to inquire about emergency services prior to coming to the office. If we are not open during your time of emergency, please go directly to the emergency room.
EYE CARE

Please bring your current prescription glasses, sunglasses, a list of any medications you are taking, and your provincial health or extended medical insurance card. If you wear contact lenses, please bring your current boxes or packaging.
Yes. We integrate advanced diagnostic technologies like Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and wide-field retinal photography into our clinical assessments to screen for early signs of ocular diseases, including glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Our clinic is located in Andover Place on Hudson Ave NE. We are directly across the street from the Salmon Arm Post Office, with convenient elevator access to our third-floor office suite.
